About Linda

A history and art enthusiast, Linda Mose Meadows has always been intrigued by quilts' beauty, design, origin and messaging in quilts.  She never imagined that she too would enthusiastically embrace this gift and begin creating expressive art quilts. 

Linda purposely incorporates a variety of vibrant, vivid fabrics, yarns, twine, black and white photos, beads, and cowrie shells to embellish her work. Each piece is completed with a mindset to celebrate and evoke her appreciation of God's presence, love, life, family, and the African Diaspora. She endeavors to demonstrate in her work subjects with spiritual strength and their rich ancestry. 

She has enjoyed being an inspirational blogger, published devotional author, poet, public speaker, and devoted academic administrator. In this season of Linda's expanded creativity, she is evolving as a fiber artist with a heartfelt appreciation for enriching the lives of others.
